Was Beckham worth the money? I live in LA and I can certainly say he's brought the visability of the Galaxy from next to nothing to making it (at least for the time being) probably the 2nd or 3rd most popular La team - the Lakers are still the clear #1. With the Dodgers and CLippers ho-hum, the Galaxy at least for the moment has the excitment and visability. But was it worth the money they're paying him?
